He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pineda and Claudia Moreno Pineda. He is survived by: his wife Maria Sotelo; and his sons, Pedro, Jesus (Wendy), Jose (Angelica) and Antonio (Jeanette). He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
