With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Funk (West Chester, Pennsylvania), born in Fries, Virginia, who passed away on June 2, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Funk and Belle Cox Funk; and his sisters, Helen York (Ray), Patsy Moxley (Larry), Jane Ann Hudson (Robert) and Frankie Vaughan (Billie).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Mark Funk (Patricia) of Lancaster and Cathy Haney of Downingtown; his grandchildren, Caitlyn and Ryan Haney; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle and Kevin Troutman; his sister-in-law Linda Lankin; and his sibling's children, Josh, Ari Lankin, Brian, Derek Vaughan, Jeff Cecil, Jon Cox, Anita Samis and Michele Davis.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to a Veterans Organization.
