He was predeceased by: his wife Debi; his brother Jeffrey Tipton; and his stepfather Samuel Bruno (Debi Tipton). He is survived by: his parents, John Hannum Tipton and Margaret F. Meehan Tipton Bruno; his daughters, Melinda Walcott, Deborah Lee Tipton, Elizabeth Tipton (Lars), Theresa Clifford (Joe) and Mary Mason (Ally); his grandchildren, Lawrence, Arianna and Joseph Walcott; and his sister Marsha Jamerson. He is also survived by dad.
