He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Batson, Sr. and Margaret Maxwell Batson. He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie C. Batson; his children, Jennifer and Michael; his sister Joan M. Blaustein (Stanley I. Blaustein); his nephew Joseph Blaustein; his niece Amy Hostetter (Steven); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bailey and Sloane Hostetter; and his cousin Fran Batson.
