He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas J. Henson and Anna S. Henson; his daughter Nikita Rae Henson; and his siblings, William, Jacqueline, Barbara and Eileen.

He is survived by : his granddaughter Natalia; and his siblings, Amy, Patricia, Dolores, Mary, Theresa, Thomas Jr., Charles, Richard and John. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
