She is survived by: her children, Praji Sakata, Patricia Serena, Martin Joyce Jr., Mariellen Serena, Peter, Lee Serena, Karen, Joseph Neal, Nancy Serena, Robert Adams and Elizabeth Serena Sanford; her grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth Joyce, Michael, Sarah Joyce, Anthony Serena, Alesha, Dietrich Hosfelt, William, Alexander and Peter Sanford; her great grandchildren, Madeline, Henry, Eamonn Joyce, George, Joseph Joyce and Caleb Hosfelt; and her sisters-in-law, Lelia Truant and Maria Timmerman. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
