She is survived by: her parents, Eudora Sleek Mickle and J. Warren Mickle; her spouse Thomas M. Appleby; her sons, Mark M. and Craig M. Appleby; her siblings, Irene Eckman, Kathryn Myers, Pauline Robb, Sallie Finlay and John W. Mickle, Jr.; her son Scott M. Appleby of South Thomaston, ME; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Saunders; her son Bruce M. Appleby of Linglestown, PA; her daughter-in-law Debra McElwee; her daughter Leigh Appleby Barnes (Paul) of Grantville, PA; her grandchildren, Sara Fuentes, Adriane Kalata, Rachel Hart, Lindsey Belanger, Gretchen Henderson, Nicole Barnes, Jacob Barnes and Jeremiah Adams; and her great grandchildren, Avery, James, Lily Hart, Lula, Ada Fuentes, Penelope Freeman, Sidney Kalata, Ainsley Belanger, Celeste, Arianna, Lucas Adams, Sloane and Eddy Henderson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the West Chester University Foundation, 1951 Endowed Scholarship Fund, 202 Carter Drive, West Chester, 19382.
