He was predeceased by: his parents, Angel Rivera and Felicita Perez; and his son Edward. He is survived by: his children, Pedro, Nellie (Jose A. Santos) and Carmen; his wife Carmen Alicia Fortis; his brothers, Felipe and Victor; his grandchildren, Maria, Natalie (Michael R. Martinez), Teresa and Nicholas; and his great grandchild Ava.
