He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Marie (Scholler) and John Augustus Neely; and his siblings, John Neely and Christine Neely. He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Scheffler; his children, Michael Scheffler Neely (Victoria Anderson), Elisabeth Morgan (Neely) and Michelle Moller (Jason Benson); his grandchildren, Kian Neely, Della Neely, Gavin Burtch and Juliette Burtch; and his sisters, Regina Forsythe (Neely) and Catherine Mullin (Neely). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
