He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. McCarter and Rae Wallick McCarter. He is survived by: his sister Brenda M. Hinze (John); his nephew Sean Hinze (Marsha); his niece Kelly Wessels (Jude); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan, Carson, Macy, Carys and Rhys.
