With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy B. Smith Jr. of West Chester, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores M. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Barbara S. Eberling and Jeffrey P. Smith; his daughter-in-law Frances Smith; his grandchildren, Nina Indrei (Mike Indrei) and David Eberling; and his great grandchild Dahlia Indrei.

His remarkable career was highlighted by his work on several satellite contracts, including contributions to the International Space Station.
