He was predeceased by: his parents, Carvil (Helen Perdue) and Walter; and his siblings, Howard Perdue, Mary McMonagle, Margaret Brown, Louise Bonsall and Dorothy Carlisle.

He is survived by: his wife Beth (Kurkis); his children, Shirl Vollmer (Tom) and Walter M Perdue Jr.; his grandchildren, Jared Mees (Nichole) and Mikaela Mees; and his great grandchildren, Leah Mees, Hayden Mees and Ellie Mae Mees. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
