He is survived by: his wife Barbara R. Van Riper; his children, William "Bill" D. III, Jacob H. (Christina) and Alexandra C. O'Hara; his grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey, Teaghan, Kathleen, Kellen and Morgan; and his sisters, Barbara Cossman and Elizabeth Van Riper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
