He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Leonard; and his siblings, Harry Leonard and Helen Swanson. He is survived by: his children, Mary Frances Keating-Tarrant (Thomas), William J. Leonard (Christine) and Colleen M. Leyden (Brian); his grandchildren, Megan, William, Kevin, Liam, Daniel, Kristen, Clare and Michael; his great grandchild Austin; and his sister Maryanne Garrett.
