He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Scheier and Miriam L. Scheier (Young). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Scheier (Barkel); his sons, William Jr. (Jacqueline) and Matthew Scheier; his grandchildren, Payton, Brayden and Cassidy; his sister-in-law Lynn Barkel; his nieces, Debra Whilden (Leon), Lisa Pagden and Cathy DiAntonio (Derek); and his nephew Eric Whilden.
