He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Royer and Roxie Royer (Appleton); his spouse Gail; and his siblings, Edna Smeal, Marion Kuhn, Helen Bloom, Lois Wise, Alfred, Austin, John Royer, Walter, Wallace and James.
He is survived by : his children, Pamela Jean Hendershot (Orie) of West Decatur, PA and Douglas D. Royer of West Decatur, PA; his grandchildren, Jason Hendershot (Emily), Alyssa Emigh (Tim), Ashley Royer and Shane Royer; and his great grandchildren, Mallory, Dylan, Morgan, Brooks, Lucas and Caleb.
