He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ackerman and Margaret Ackerman (Meyers); and his brothers, Robert, Harry, Paul and Richard Meyers.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ackerman (DeHart); his children, Glenn Ackerman, Jr. (Melissa) of Forks Township and Donna Welty (Jeffrey) of Hellertown; his brothers, John Ackerman of Wilson Borough and Mark Ackerman (Terry) of West Easton; his grandchildren, Brooke Bonavita (Joey) and Ryan Ackerman; and his pet Ginger.
