He is survived by: his children, Christopher Mikolaj (Christy) of Jefferson Hills, Nicholas Mikolaj of Houston and Melanie Mathews (Rick) of Cranberry, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Sean Saputo and Lucy Mathews; and his brothers, Mark Mikolaj (Ginny) of West Virginia and George Mikolaj (Joellen) of Ohio.
