He was predeceased by: his grandmother Katie Lee. He is survived by: his mother Tricia Lee; his sister Tyanna Walker; his great-grandparent Wanda Jones; and his grandparents, Shirley Jones and Norman Lee. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous close friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Life Center (125 Saginaw Rd, Lincoln University, PA 19352). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Derrick's memory may be made to an animal rescue or animal welfare organization of your choice, in honor of his beloved dog, King and his deep love for animals.
