He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Leo Chapin and Rosemary Cummings Chapin. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hodge Chapin; his children, Edwin Chapin, Jr., Gary Kahn and Lauren Chapin; his sisters, Kay, Bonnie, Margie and Debbie; his grandchildren, Lauren, Erin, Eddie, Sean, Liam, Paden, Jude, Nolan, Luke, Christian, Suzanna and Johnathan; and his great grandchild Cassandra.
