He was predeceased by: his parents, David Frank and Lettie Ola Pool Perkins; his sons, Eddie Perkins and Sonny Perkins; and his siblings, Sam Perkins and Kaye Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Charles D. Perkins, Sr. and Tammy G. Vible; and his siblings, Mary Campbell, Barnes, Elizabeth Keesee, Albert Perkins, Jim Perkins and Paul Perkins. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
