She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Howey and Annalee Howey (Barr); and her brother Lee Glenn Howey. She is survived by: her children, Debra Sterner of Tempe, AZ, Michael Sterner of Chandler, AZ, Scott Sterner of West Lawn and John Sterner of West Lawn; and her pet Socks.
