She was predeceased by: her husband Henry F. Rhoads; and her parents, Frank Mechtle and Shirley Mechtle (Freeman). She is survived by: her daughter Shirleyann Riffle (Rhoads). She is also survived by three grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
