He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Long and Beatrice (Troutman). He is survived by: his wife Karen L. Long (Pfleger); his children, Denise Y. Spease (Steven S.) of Reading and Brian V. Long (Sandra L.) of Sinking Spring; and his grandchildren, Lauren Rightmyer (Cory), Adam Long, Nicholas Spease and Alex Long.
