He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Magdalene Ducar (Durkin); and his siblings, Helen Martin, Mary Schenley, Ann and Donald Ducar.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Ducar, Robert Ducar (Lois), Diana Shumac (Earl) and Darrin Ducar; his grandchildren, Samantha Shumac and Jonathan Shumac (Alyssa); and his great grandchildren, Chase, Jackson, Daniel and Lincoln Shumac.
