He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Monzo and Caroline Monzo; and his sister Carol Ann Monzo. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise (Cioppa); his children, Lisa Stricklin (Jim), Eric Monzo (Dana) and Dana Esper (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Stricklin, Melina Esper, Luca Monzo, Nicholas Stricklin, Chase Esper, Gabrielle Stricklin, Caroline Monzo and Michael Monzo.
