He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gill and Mildred Gill (Sayre); and his wife Mary Lou Gill (Pietzak). He is survived by: his sons, Russel E. "Russ" Gill, Jr. (Stephanie) and Francis Joseph "Frank" Gill (Leah); his grandchildren, Jeremy Gill, Francis Gill Jr. and Julietta Joy Gill; his sisters, Mary Allan and Sue Fortney (David); and his pets, Killer and Missy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
