He was predeceased by: his parents, William August, Sr. and Elizabeth Beadling Yoest; his wife Theresa Heasly Yoest; his daughter Erin Michelle O'Brien; his sister Barbara Yoest; and his nephew Mark DeSimone.
He is survived by: his daughter Shannon O'Brien (Roy Molter) of West Mifflin, PA; his grandchildren, Derrick Jerome, Hallie O'Brien, Mason O'Brien, Dylan Pulkownik, Logan Pulkownik and Sarah Rotz; his great grandchild Dawson; and his sister Jean DeSimone of South Hero, VT. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc. (1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
