It is with sadness that the passing of John Scripkunas (West Pittston, Pennsylvania) is shared. John, born on August 13, 1941, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Scripkunas and Marguerite MacMorran Scripkunas; and his daughter Cathy Zych (Ryan). He is survived by: his sisters, Judith Sokach, Marguerite Dixon (Puggsie) and Marie Orlando Wills; his children, Ann Marie Cook (Perry), John Scripkunas (DeeDee), Charlene Guth (Frank) and Jamie Scripkunas (Patty); his grandchildren, Jessica Endrusick Drozd, Jamelle Serbvin, Jeremy Serbin, Joshua Scripkunas, Samantha Jo Scripkunas and Cassandra Jo Scripkunas; and his great grandchildren, Aliana Beth Singer and Drozd.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (Corpus Christi Parish) (605 Luzerne Ave, West Pittston, PA 18643).
