With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George A. Connolly (West Reading, Pennsylvania), born in Englewood, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2025 at the age of 87. In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Michael and Frances Connolly (O'Connell); his son Christopher Alan Connolly; and his sister Deborah Connolly Albanese. He is survived by: his wife Martha Simpson Horsfield Connolly; his daughter Elisabeth Connolly Shelton; his grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Connolly, Nathan Alan Shelton and Sarah Elisabeth Shelton; his brother-in-law James Albanese; and his niece Dori Cerciello.
