He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bitting and Marion Bitting; and his brother Donald "Skip" Bitting. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bitting (Bower); his children, Lisa Newswagner (Tony), Blair Jones (Chris), Aimee Sanford (Mike) and Jacob Greth (Erica); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrew, Reagan, Liam, Annie, Beau and Ben; his great grandchild Jonas; and his brother John "Jack" Stutzman.
