He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Balthaser and Minerva Balthaser (Freeman); and his brother Richard "Butch" A. Balthaser. He is survived by : his sister Joan A. Leed (late Samuel R. Leed) of Reinholds; his nephew Jeffrey S. (Deborah J.); his niece Jodie L. (James Johnson) of Wernersville; his great-nephews, Travis J. Leed, Tyler S. Leed and Gabe S. Leed of Reinholds; and his close friend Harry "Skip" Mitchell of Knavers.
