It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Herbst of West Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mae A. Hunter. She is survived by: her husband Edward A. Herbst, Jr.; her sons, Alan Hoffert (Judith Ives) of Cape Cod, MA, Keith Metz, Todd Metz (Kim) of Bainbridge, PA and Neal Metz; her grandchildren, Emily and Rory Hoffert; and her son Zach Metz.
