He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Walter (Hackett); his sons, Marc (Lisa Insinger) and Ryan (Jennifer Woods); his grandchildren, Kasey, Carolyn, Grant, Jordan and McKenzie; and his brother John F. Walter (Barbara M. Walter).
