He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Lahnan and Mary Lahnan (Gruzosky); his daughter Brenda Justice; his brothers, Lawrence Lahnan, Robert Lahnan and Donald Lahnan; and his brother-in-law David Diehl.

He is survived by: his wife Renalda Lahnan (Peterson); his daughters, Wanda Lahnan and Pam Oakes (Gary); his son-in-law Mark Justice; his sisters, Judy Diehl and Mary Laureen "Connie"; his granddaughters, Sheree Taylor and Rebekah Ryer (Ben); and his great grandchild Oliver Ryer.
