She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Mershimer and Dorothy Mershimer (George); her husband R. Lowell Hancock; and her sisters, Sandra McGinty and Wanda Beachem.
She is survived by: her daughter Holly Small (Travis) of Slippery Rock; her stepson Gary Hancock (Helen) of Cabot; her grandsons, David Hancock (Stephanie) of Newport, NC and Andrew Hancock (Rachel) of Cabot; her brother Thomas Mershimer (Carla) of Butler; and her cherished shih tzu Nash. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
