He is survived by: his father Harry Lee (Carol Burns); his wife Jolyn M. Burns (Fischer); his children, Derek Burns and Dana Kearns; his grandchildren, Lily, Elyn, Grey Kearns and Josh Kearns; his sisters, Beth Smith (Jeff) and Amy Vodenichar; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Kretzer (Mark), Thomas Fischer (Anita) and Scott Fischer (Robin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Chestnut Presbyterian Church (727 West Dr #422, Butler, PA 16001). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
