James Bass Broff Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Bass Broff of West View, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James Bass has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Broff and Rosella Broff. He is survived by: his sister Barbara Broff Goldman; his children, Stacy Walgreen and Jacob Broff (Erica); his grandsons, Mitchell, Sam and Cooper; and his friend Marc. He is also survived by his family and friends Friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. (5509 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation (4720 Perrysville Ave, Ross Township, PA 15229).
