She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Harold and Joyce L. Hanes (Houghtaling); and her siblings, Eugene, James, Gregory, Edward, Mary, Eva and Etta Hanes.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Simon Gigee; her children, Dena (Kevin Palys), Marnae (Jim Fee), Simon Gigee of Westfield, Eugene "Fonz" (Brandy Hanes), Melissa (David Reynolds) and Glenda Gigee of Westfield; and her siblings, Donald Hanes, Joseph Hanes, Connie Tillinghast, Goldia Wiliford and Darcy Hanes. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
