It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Johanna DeMonte of Westfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Washkow and Olga E. Washkow (Nesbit); her husband Louis R. DeMonte; and her brother William Washkow. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Meachem, Louis (Katie DeMonte, Jr.), Ernie (Maryjayne DeMonte) and Joe (Deborah DeMonte); and her grandchildren, Dennis, Michelle Ackley, Tom Ackley, Danielle, Brendan McGaha, Brittney, Drew Cipolla, Emily, Jesse, Jason, Melissa, Elizabeth, Halie, Kayla, Connor, Abigail, Angela, Joey, Desiree and Christian Hage. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
