With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. McMahon of Wexford, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McMahon and Mary Jane McMahon; and his siblings, Jack McMahon and Jane McMahon. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn McMahon (Del Vaglio); his children, James McMahon of McCandless, Gregory McMahon (Jodie) of Bluffton, SC, Jason McMahon (Stacy) of Niceville, FL, Michele Gorman (Joe Murgia) of Pittsburgh and Heather Gorman of Washington, DC.; his sisters, Judy Ott (Jerry) and Janet Gall (Jack); and his sister-in-law Donna McMahon-Rhodes. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the St. Jude Children's hospital (https://www.stjude.org) in lieu of flowers.
