She was predeceased by: her husband Themistocles C. Balouris; her parents, Demetrios Mourtakos and Maria Mourtakos; her brother Elias Mourtakos (Evangelia); her siblings-in-law, Linda Mourtacos, Pipina Goulandris (Nikolaos), Evangelia Georgiou (Nikolaos), John Balouris (Helen), Anthony Balouris (Helen) and Yiannis Gilipathis; and her son-in-law Eric Tomalski.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Balouris, Jim (Yvonne Balouris), Chris (Chrysoula Balouris) and Maria (Pete Handrinos); her grandchildren, Themistocles D., Petros, Katerina, Ekaterini, Aleksaundra, Luke, Alex, Themistocles C., Vasile, Katina, Evangelia and Nikitas; her siblings, Alice Kapnisis and Tom Mourtacos; her sister-in-law Marika Gilipathis; and her caregiver Maria. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
