He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dangel and Elsie Dangel (Sharbaugh); and his siblings, Edward Dangel, Allen Dangel, Howard Dangel, Marie Dangel and Marlene Beisler.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dangel (Bear); his daughters, Roberta McKivigan (Larry), Tracey Gray, Anne Marie Herm (Thomas), Natalie Protulipac (Matt) and Dacia Pross (Mike); his grandchildren, Erika Vice (Scott), Mark McKivigan (Steve), Blaise Gray (Samantha), Dayne Gray (Domenica), Bria Herm, Kailyn Herm, Travis Herm, Sawyer Protulipac, Mira Protulipac and Jackson Pross; and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Haven, Evelyn, Blaze, Amelia and Rosalin. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sperling Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. (700 Blazier Dr, Wexford, PA 15090). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the West View Methodist Church (146 Cornell Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229).
