It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert P. McLaughlin of Wexford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. McLaughlin and Edith Cox McLaughlin; his parents-in-law, Daniel Cowher and Clara Cowher; his stepmother Josephine Cover McLaughlin; his sister Nora (Ray Norris); his stepbrother John Cover; and his siblings-in-law, William (Clara Coyne), Daniel (Rosemarie Cowher) and Rita Cowher.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Sally (Thomas Carangi), Hal Cowher, Eileen (Ed Onofray) and Susan Cover; his children, David McLaughlin (Gail), Dennis McLaughlin (Mary Sue), Philip McLaughlin (Beth), Mary Baranik (David) and Ann McLaughlin (David Golias); his grandchildren, Mike, Bart, Dan, Rebecca (Ryan), Robert John (Sarah), Alyssa (Dan), Drew (Kristina), Allison, Nara (Spencer), Lexi (Eric) and Mela; his great grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Lyla, Rylee, Ailish, Elmer, Claire, Carly, Brooke, Marlene and Nick; and his wife Virginia of Joseph's Church.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sperling Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. (700 Blazier Dr, Wexford, PA 15090). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Of St. Aidan Parish (10090 Old Perry Hwy, Wexford, PA 15090).
