He was predeceased by: his parents, Zola Combs and Margaret Combs (Lincoln); his daughter Cassandra Combs Eick; and his brother Leland Combs. He is survived by: his wife Renee L. Combs (Scacchi); his sons, Russell V. Combs, Jr. (Rachel) of Charlottesville, VA, Shawn C. Combs (Tina) of Fort Smith, AR and Jason L. Combs of Lapeer, MI.; his brother Larry Combs (Diana) of Limestone, NY; his sister-in-law Margaret Combs of Stonewood, NC; his grandchildren, Merik Combs, Elaina Combs, Rebekah Combs, Morgan Daniels and Hannah Smith Combs; and his great grandchildren, Montagne Suffel and Marina Daniels. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
