He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Gillner and Tharsella Gillner. He is survived by: his wife Rose Gillner (Weismann); his children, Alan (Karen) and Karla (Larry); his grandchildren, Katrina, Kelsey, Madison, Camden, Nate and Nick; and his sister Sally Ann Monteleone (late Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Stoneridge Covenant Church.
