Beverly Ackers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2025, at the age of 87, Beverly Ackers of White Haven, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sterner and Grace Sterner (Stemple); her husband Gordy; and her brother Charles. She is survived by: her children, Gordy Ackers (Doreen) of White Haven and Cindy Derolf (Dwight) of Buck Township; her grandchildren, Jake Derolf (Danielle) of Elizabethtown, PA, Chandler Ackers (Briley Marchetti) of Gilbertsville, PA and Hannah Ackers of Gilbertsville, PA; her great grandchildren, Duncan, Russell Derolf and Miles Marchetti; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Smith, Mary Alice Quinn, Janet Ackers and Alyce Sterner. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (414 Berwick St, White Haven, PA 18661). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Laurel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to remember and honor Beverly's life that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 414 Berwick Street, White Haven.
