He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Handlong and Raymond Handlong Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Lucas Handlong; his children, Ryan Handlong of White Haven and Kristin Marx (Ryan) of Dallas; his granddaughters, Hailey and Kaitlyn Marx; his sister-in-law Karen Petrilli; and his aunt Anna Mae Kushma. He is also survived by nephews and cousins.
