He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Yackiel and Beatrice Yackiel (Dziermejko); his wife Maria Katharina (Kotte); and his siblings, Jean, Bernard and Stanley.
He is survived by: his children, Ursula Khalife (Michael) of White Haven, Thomas B. Yackiel of White Haven, Karen Yackiel (Kirk Dyche) of White Haven and Christopher Yackiel (Vicki) of Catawissa; his grandchildren, Angela Kaminski (Tyler), Michelle Khalife, Matthew Yackiel (Morgan), Emily Llanso (Evan) and Thomas R. Yackiel (Haylie); and his great grandchild Chester Kaminski.
