She was predeceased by: her parents, George Balta and Ella Balta (Kushner); her husband Dr. George F. Stanchik; and her brothers, George Balta (Eleanor) and Dr. Paul Balta.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Stanchik (Mary Ann) and Tamara Boyd (William); her grandson Ian Stanchik; her brother Stephen Balta (Helen); her sister-in-law Carole Balta; her close friend Margie Martinjak; and her pet Petey.
